Melwire Rolling Mills, which operates under the brand name Melwa, manufactures steel pipes and bars using raw material imported from their vendors. The organization was using SAP to track financials and to keep records.

• Led a team of 9 engineers to develop a Laravel based cloud application that is capable to capture data through IoT devices
• Spearheaded the architectural design to integrate the business process between Melwire and their Vendors. The system introduced the addition of barcodes and QR codes on raw materials, which captured and sent data to the system upon being scanned by Android devices. This automated the previously manual data entering operation practiced by them. 
• System was used 24/7 with a total user base of over 124 on Desktop and Mobile devices
• Developed an API that can be consumed by Mobile applications and IoT devices
• Developed dashboards and reports that extracted operational data and interpreted them as easy to understand infographics allowing management to make data-driven decisions
• Integrated the developed system with SAP B1 to automatically transfer data between the two systems using API's.
